AI Policy

AI is a productivity tool, not a replacement for creativity.

I do not use AI for writing or editing prose. All of my blog posts are written by me alone. My ideas are my own, not outcomes from a probabilistic slot machine.

I use AI for research and coding. For matters of artistry, hand-written code is still necessary.

I believe that AI has moral and ethical obligations that large companies are currently avoiding.

I worry that AI tools are negatively affecting skill formation. Tools designed for sycophancy should not be relied upon too heavily.
