AI Policy

I do not use AI for writing or editing prose. My blog posts are written by me, alone.

I use AI for research and coding. Open source projects I contribute to on Sourcehut do not use AI-generated code, per Sourcehut's guidelines.

I believe that AI has moral and ethical obligations that foundation companies are incorrectly dismissing.

I worry that AI tools are negatively affecting skill formation. Tools designed for sycophancy should not be relied upon for understanding. I think following No AI Fridays is a good idea.
